The short version
We don't use your data for anything other than running qcal. We don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't train AI models on it. Your data is yours.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We also request access to your Google Calendar so we can check your availability and create booking events on your behalf.
How we use it
We use your information solely to provide the qcal scheduling service. Specifically:
- Your name and email identify your account and appear on your booking pages.
- Your Google Calendar data is read to determine your availability and to create events when someone books a meeting with you.
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are only used to communicate with Google's APIs on your behalf.
That's it. No analytics profiling, no ad targeting, no secondary use of any kind.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely in our database. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. All connections to our service use HTTPS. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your information.
Third-party services
We integrate with Google Calendar to provide our core scheduling functionality. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
Data deletion
You can revoke qcal's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions. If you'd like us to delete all of your data, contact us and we'll take care of it promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
